Surf and Turf the Web at new site

The Allentown Center City Association recently welcomed GEO Spirits and Cuisine to its list of Hamilton Street businesses.

Located on the first floor of the Crowne Plaza, this new restaurant is part of the active revitalization of the downtown, according to the association. The lounge, which is part of the restaurant, includes 22 new televisions and two new Dell computer stations, where you can Surf the Internet or order some food.

The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce joined with Sen. Pat Browne, November 3 to recognize GEO as Allentowns newest downtown restaurant.

The evening was highlighted by discussing the economic development efforts of county, city and state initiatives that are taking place on Hamilton Street.

The Crowne Plaza is owned by Driftwood Hospitality Management. This company owns 27 hotels in top business travel and convention markets in seven states, the Bahamas and Costa Rica. The Crowne Plaza in Allentown is a Premiere Property of Driftwood Hospitality.

Presented to Crowne Plaza Allentown, November 4, 2005, by State Senator Pat Browne, the Lehigh County Urban Economic Development Award honoring developers and business owners who have demonstrated vision, dedication and determination in the development and implementation of projects designed to improve the quality of life in downtown Allentown.
